Prince Shannon
Prince Shannon - 1996 ApHC Hall of Fame inductee.

Sired by Prince's Jim, a few-spot son of Prince Plaudit, and out of Barretta Bright, a Mighty Bright daughter, Prince Shannon entered the world with the advantage of carrying two of the best bloodlines in the Appaloosa breed.

The 1974 stallion earned a reserve national yearling halter title, as well as a junior championship at the Grand National Show at the Cow Palace. The heavily-muscled leopard established his presence further as a world and national champion sire. Among his get are 32 register of merit earners and 10 medallion winners, including halter and performance champions.

Despite his death of lymphoma in October 1992, Prince Shannon continues to be a strong influence on the list of leading Appaloosa sires.
