The great race producing mare Rose Time died in November 1987 at the age of 24.

Bred by Charles Tanner of Florida, Rose Time was by Half Time II (TB) and out of Ocala Rose. She was unraced, but produced nine Appaloosa starters for combined earnings of $219,600.57. Her production record includes:  Twenty Grand, stakes placed money winner of $9,546.03; Time Jet, money winner; Time Flies, an 11-time stakes winner and medallion winner with earnings of $87,317.72; Tex Time, money winner; Olympic's Lil' Bro, stakes winner, ROM, and medallion winner with earnings of $44,055.50; Olympic Time, stakes winner-stakes placed medallion winner with earnings of $38,334.89; Deep South, stakes winner-stakes placed medallion winner with earnings of $36,258.60; and Black Widow I, ROM and money winner.

Time Flies and Deep South are two of her most well-known sons, with excellent records as runners and sires. Time Flies started 36 times, winning 26, placing in eight, and finishing third two times. As a sire he has produced 94 starters for combined earnings of $564,176.32. Among his get are stakes winners A Time Lee Nelco, (ROM); Bangle Time, (ROM) bronze medallion winner; Bolodier's Time; Brighter Times, (ROM); Fickle Charge; and Mighty Tyme, (ROM), bronze medallion winner. He also sired bronze medallion winner Host Flies Ky, and his get have themselves produced stakes winners.

Deep South raced 12 times, to win seven and place four. He is the sire of 114 starters for combined earnings of $828,078.16. His stakes winning get include Air Force One, (ROM); Bar T's Top Choice (ROM); Bar T's Man, (ROM) bronze medallion winner; Cklassy Trash, bronze medallion winner; Deep Indebt; Little Lady Oh, (ROM), bronze medallion winner; Mr Bar T, (ROM), bronze medallion winner; Old Brizz, (ROM); Our Elvira; Painted South; South Bay; South Star, (ROM); Southern Chic, (ROM); Southern Pride, (ROM) bronze medallion winner; Southern Wind, (ROM); True South, (ROM), bronze medallion winner; and Watch This Boy, (ROM) bronze medallion winner. He also sired bronze medallion winners Ace's Fly High, Deep Diver, and South Host Ky. His daughter Little Lady Oh earned more than $119,300 and topped the list of all time leading earners for many years.

Rose Time made a lasting impact on the Appaloosa breed. She was owned by Wagon Wheel Ranch in Utah for the past five years, but due to arthritis was sent to English Hills Ranch in California where she passed away because of causes ralating to old age. David Nemelka of Wagon Wheel Ranch said at the time of her death Rose Time had a yearling by Master Hand and a weanling by Staunch Avenger.
