While the possiblilties of seeing a photo of an Appaloosa son or daughter of AQHA Hall of Fame stallion Three Bars are definitely rare, it makes it that much more exciting to find one with the looks and production record of Three Bars Queen.

You might say that this horse got an advantage from the start since she was a product of the breeding program of Appaloosa breeders Lorne and Vera Knisley of Colorado. Noted for producing good-looking, using Appaloosas, the Knisley's are held in high esteem as reputable breeders of fine horses.

Lajla Lovenskiold, of Uller Farms, was the last owner of Three Bars Queen, owning her for the last 16 years of the mare's life. At 11:00 a.m., June 11, 1993, Three Bars Queen died at Uller Farms, Aldergrove B.C., and was buried on a little plot at the farm that is planted with beautiful roses that celebrate the memories of this great mare. Uller Farms' web site has a nice biography page that highlights much of this mare's life along with some photos and information about her offspring.
