Owner Victoria Ennis of Kingston, Oklahoma, agreed to have the Appaloosa racing stallion, Mr Spotted Bull, euthanized in May 1999, after veterinarians were unable to surgically save the stallion's broken leg. Jerry Nunneley bred the Appaloosa mare, Zip's Silver Maid, to Z-Bull (JC), producing Mr Spotted Bull on April 14, 1971. Mr Spotted Bull earned $6,912.67 during his racing career with a 5-1-2-1 record and one stakes win. In April 1983, Appaloosa News featured a portrait of Mr Spotted Bull on its cover and an article about his accomplishments as a sire. As a breeding stallion, he produced a versatile crop of 405 registered foals. In 1977 and 1980, Mr Spotted Bull was the leading sire of money earners. Currently, he's the number six all-time leading sire of racing money earners with his son, Bull Nunneley, in third place. Mr Spotted Bull has produced 196 race starters who've earned $870,613.51, 14 stakes wins, 33 stakes placed, 33 racing registers of merit and 11 meadlions.
